Lacing up the running trainers and taking to the streets is a favourite pasttime for people all over the world as they indulge in a bit of light exercise to work off the stress of a long day.
Yet despite putting on your shoes being a key part of going for a run - much like remembering to make sure you're wearing trousers before you leave for work - it appears that a new craze for barefoot running in America is resulting in people being left with a whole host of different injuries.
